Bed & Breakfast “Lots of Love”, located at 43 Route du Theron, 46220 Prayssac, is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement. The processing of personal data includes, among other things, the collection, storage, recording, inspection, retrieval, consultation or destruction of personal data.

“Lots of Love” handles the personal data it processes with care and complies with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means, amongst other things, that:
• “Lots of Love” provides clear and transparent information about how and for what purposes personal data is processed;
• personal data is processed only for specific purposes and the processing is based on one of the grounds set out in the GDPR;
• appropriate security measures are taken to protect personal data against loss and theft;

Personal data processed by “Lots of Love”
When you book a stay with “Lots of Love” or request information via the contact form on our website, we ask you to provide personal data. In order to provide a good service, it is necessary for “Lots of Love” to have certain data at its disposal.
We process the following personal data:
• Email address, telephone number, first name, surname, address, postcode, town/city, country
• Other personal data that you actively provide on your own initiative, for example by informing us of dietary requirements, allergies, etc.
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Lots of Love processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data about you: data actively provided on your own initiative, such as dietary requirements, allergies, etc.
For what purpose and on what legal basis does “Lots of Love” process personal data
“Lots of Love” processes your personal data for the following purposes:
• Management and confirmation of bookings
• Communication with guests before and during their stay
• Administration and invoicing
• Compliance with legal obligations (French regulations, tax and police)
• Management and improvement of our services
We do not send newsletters and do not use data for marketing purposes without explicit consent.
Legal basis
If you book a stay with “Lots of Love”, we require your personal data in order to fulfil the contract. Furthermore, there is a legitimate interest in processing the aforementioned personal data. The processing of this data is necessary to provide a good service and to ensure the efficient administrative handling of the service. In addition, we have a legal obligation to record data and retain it for a specified period.
How long “Lots of Love” retains personal data
“Lots of Love” does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
• Customer and booking data: up to 5 years after your last stay
• Invoicing data: 10 years (mandatory under French tax legislation)
• Legal records (such as police records): in accordance with applicable French regulations
Sharing personal data with third parties
“Lots of Love” We only share personal data when necessary:
• With our data processor: MyTourist (for website and booking management)
• With accounting or administrative service providers
• With government authorities where legally required
Data processing agreements have been concluded with all processors (where required). We never sell personal data to third parties.
Cookies, or similar technologies, used by “Lots of Love”
“Lots of Love” uses one functional cookie and no analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookie we use is necessary for the website to function properly. It ensures that the booking module works correctly.
Part B
Accessing, amending or deleting data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by “Lots of Love”, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that “Lots of Love” holds about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation specified by you.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
You can send a request to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to welcome@lotsoflove.fr.
“Lots of Love” would like to remind you that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
How “Lots of Love” protects personal data
“Lots of Love” takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
We use web services provided by MyTourist and have entered into a data processing agreement with MyTourist for this purpose. MyTourist processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata regarding the use of the services. This does not constitute personal data. MyTourist has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. MyTourist is bound by a confidentiality agreement.
We use Proton’s services for our regular business email correspondence. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as far as possible. Proton does not have access to our inbox and we treat all our email correspondence as confidential.
